The Loyola admission process, like our academic philosophy and our graduates, is atypical. Actual thinking, feeling, reasoning human beings conduct our admission evaluations—not a bank of number-crunching computers programmed to spot the “right” GPA.
When we review applications, we accept students based on all aspects of their preparation—from academics to extracurricular activities to achievements that are totally unique. That’s why we’ve adopted a test-optional admission policy, where SAT and/or ACT scores are not required for students applying for full-time undergraduate admission. What’s more, we’re committed to making Loyola’s private education affordable. We sponsor institutionally funded academic scholarships, need-based and athletic grants and participate in the major federal and state aid programs.
