Loyola’s Sellinger School Rises for Second Year in Businessweek Rankings

Loyola University Maryland’s Sellinger School of Business and Management ranks 47th in the nation in Bloomberg Businessweek’s “2014 Ranking of Best Undergraduate Business Schools,” up six places from last year and 15 places from 2012.
The Sellinger School also ranks 24th in academic quality this year with an A for teaching quality and A+ for facilities and services. Businessweek bases the rankings on surveys of students and employers, academic metrics such as SAT scores and class size, and student success after graduation.
“This is the second year the Sellinger School has risen in Businessweek’s rankings, which are significant because they’re based in large part on what students say about their growth and experience at the Sellinger School,” said Karyl B. Leggio, dean of the Sellinger School.

Among the Sellinger School’s other distinctions, U.S. News & World Report ranked the school’s MBA finance program 15th and accounting program 20th nationally in the publication’s “Best Grad Schools 2015” list. In addition, Businessweek ranked the Sellinger School’s business law program second, marketing program fifth, and information systems program seventh nationally among undergraduate business schools in 2013.
